Schaumburg, IL (April 20, 2012) -On May 3, 2012, Assurance CEO Tony Chimino will be hosting a session on building a Best Place to Work at the NHRC Forum, which will be held at Harper College's Wojcik Conference Center in Palatine, Illinois. Under the conference theme of "Inspire Beyond the Ordinary," Tony will speak to Human Resources professionals about the power of corporate culture and the key long-term strategies necessary to be recognized as a Best Place to Work.
With many businesses worldwide undergoing layoffs, budget freezes and smaller profit margins, companies are limiting their investments in employee benefits and company culture. What many executives fail to realize is that company culture makes cents – meaning the long-term financial benefits far outweigh the initial expenses associated with forming a company culture that's also a Best Place to Work. Chimino has regarded these extra perks as a necessary part of growing a business and has helped Assurance – a Top 50 U.S. Broker – amass more than 24 awards over the past 5 years for client service and being a Best Place to Work. He attributes corporate culture to the company's growing success in revenue, profits and number of employees during a down economy and will be sharing his insights and experience at Assurance during the NHRC Forum next month.
"I am looking forward to sharing Assurance's story and how we've worked together to build a company that attracts and retains talent through a robust company culture,” noted Chimino. He continued, The NHRC Forum will provide HR professionals with many takeaways, and I hope that the importance of creating a ‘Best Place to Work' is one of them.”
